My name is Jess and I'm 16.
I'm working on losing weight through a healthy diet, calorie counting and exercise.

So you slipped up. So what? Do you give up and remain there?
NO!
You pick yourself up and move on. You can never change your past, but you can change your future.

bad day :(

it has been a terrible day, things have been crazy. a kid from my school took his life last night (rest in peace to him<3), and everyone was grieving all day today. it has been unreal… and keeps bringing me back to what happened to nell in january. I have been insanely moody and emotional, I also have my period which explains some of it, and I binged today, worse than yesterday. unlike yesterday, i didnt even work out, didnt hurt myself for doing it, i have just been kind of numb about everything…

im not giving up though, tomorrow is a new day. I think after the initial shock, things will get better, and I can collect myself, and control myself. i feel so awful right now and cant wait to start over when i wake up.

“every new day is another chance…”

fuck binge

i cant believe i let myself do that. the entire time i kept asking myself are you sure you want to do this? and i still just kept eating. i never should have let myself have a “cheat day” yesterday. it ruins my self control. i wish i could purge. fuck fuck fuck i hate myself:(

I’m so proud of myself.
So my dad made s’mores.. and I added all the calories up and was planning on treating myself and eating it… but I suddenly decided to have a tomato instead! I sliced it up and sprinkled some salt and basil on it…. so good.. and the best part is I know I won’t regret it later :)

15 THINGS YOU SHOULD GIVE UP TO BE HAPPY
Here is a list of 15 things which, if you give up on them, will make your life a lot easier and much, much happier. We hold on to so many things that cause us a great deal of pain, stress and suffering – and instead of letting them all go, instead of allowing ourselves to be stress free and happy – we cling on to them. Not anymore. Starting today we will give up on all those things that no longer serve us, and we will embrace change. Ready? Here we go:
1. GIVE UP YOUR NEED TO ALWAYS BE RIGHT
2. GIVE UP YOUR NEED FOR CONTROL
3. GIVE UP ON BLAME
4. GIVE UP YOUR SELF-DEFEATING SELF-TALK
5. GIVE UP YOUR LIMITING BELIEFS
6. GIVE UP COMPLAINING
7. GIVE UP THE LUXURY OF CRITICISM
8. GIVE UP YOUR NEED TO IMPRESS OTHERS
9. GIVE UP YOUR RESISTANCE TO CHANGE
10. GIVE UP LABELS
11. GIVE UP ON YOUR FEARS
12. GIVE UP YOUR EXCUSES
13. GIVE UP THE PAST
14. GIVE UP ATTACHMENT
